Biography
Iriana Halim, better known by her Mandarin name Lin Youyi (林有懿), is a Singaporean bilingual television presenter, actress, and presentation coach. Born on 11 October 1980, she graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University before pivoting to media, spending over a decade as a news and current affairs anchor for Mediacorp Channel 8’s flagship programmes Good Morning Singapore and Hello Singapore. She has since transitioned into entrepreneurship as Co-Founder and Head Coach of R.E.A.L. Life Coaching (Inside Out Academy), training Asia-Pacific executives in presentation skills, mental fitness and personal branding.
Achievements
JCI Singapore TOYP Honoree (2018) — recognised by Junior Chamber International for her outstanding contributions to media and community.
Star Awards Best News/Current Affairs Presenter (2012) — won Mediacorp’s most prestigious annual television awards for her exemplary anchoring on Good Morning Singapore, establishing her as one of Singapore’s top bilingual news presenters.
Presenter, Hello Singapore (Channel 8, 2014–2025) — decade-long role as anchor of Channel 8’s 6:30 PM prime time current affairs programme, interviewing politicians, executives and influential figures.
Noted NTU Alumni — listed among NTU’s notable media professionals and celebrities, recognised as a prominent Nanyang Business School graduate who broke into media.
Co-Founder, R.E.A.L. Life Coaching / Inside Out Academy (2023–present) — built a coaching practice with clientele including Asia-Pacific leaders from Philips and Estée Lauder, and speakers at the Million Dollar Round Table; grew a following of over 112,000 across platforms.
Certified Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) from the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore; holds a Graduate Certificate in Communication Management from SMU.
Media Speaker, Taiwan–Singapore Cultural Exchange (2024) — invited speaker at a dinner hosted by Dr Chen-yuan Tung, Representative of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, contributing to bilateral cultural ties.
