The Programme
What is TOYP?
The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Singapore (JCI Singapore TOYP) is a national recognition programme that highlights young people aged 18 to 40 who have created real, verifiable impact — in business, science and technology, academic research, culture, humanitarian work, and other fields.
Organised by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Singapore, it is the Singapore edition of JCI's global TOYP programme, which has honoured remarkable young leaders worldwide since 1983. Singapore honourees may go on to represent the country at the JCI World Congress, standing alongside TOYP honourees from over 100 countries.

A Tradition of Honour
Singapore's TOYP journey began in 1972, making it one of the earliest national editions of this global programme. Over five decades, TOYP Singapore has honoured hundreds of remarkable young Singaporeans, several of whom have gone on to receive the prestigious JCI World TOYP recognition.
The programme embodies the JCI mission of empowering young people to create positive change — spotlighting individuals who are already creating boundless impact in their communities and beyond.
