The Judging Standard
What We Look For
All nominees across every category are evaluated against five universal criteria. These principles ensure a rigorous, fair assessment across wildly different fields of achievement — from scientific breakthroughs to humanitarian work.
Our judges are looking for depth and authenticity. Named individuals, measurable outcomes, and concrete evidence of impact carry far more weight than broad claims or impressive titles.
01
Impact & Outcomes
What changed because of this person? How many people were affected, and how deeply?
02
Leadership & Initiative
Did they start and drive the work, or join something that already existed?
03
Innovation & Originality
Is there something genuinely new here, or is it mainly executing an existing idea well?
04
Sustainability & Legacy
Does the impact continue beyond them? Will it still matter in five years?
05
Inspiration & Role Modelling
Have they demonstrably inspired others to act — with named individuals or concrete examples?
