Biography

Kenneth Wong is a Singaporean professional working in the education, community and youth development sector. He serves as a lecturer at the Institute of Technical Education and has been awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) for his contributions to public service in Singapore.

Kenneth received the TOYP Singapore Merit Award in 2018 for Humanitarian and/or Voluntary Leadership in recognition of his outstanding contribution to humanitarian and voluntary leadership. He leads and mentors youths in various youth organisations, planning and organising events for the community to encourage residents to participate and strengthen social capacity in society.

His work extends to international development, where he leads youths to international conferences such as the United Nations Environment Programme, United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) and various youth exchange programmes. He coordinates programmes for students to take part in humanitarian projects across South East Asia, bringing Singaporean youths beyond their physical classroom.

  • Led youth delegations to international conferences including UN Environment Programme and Climate Change Conference (COP).
  • Served as Executive Committee member for NYAA Gold Award Holders' Alumni (GAHA) Network.
