Biography

Leow Wen Pin (廖文彬) is a pastor-theologian who currently serves as associate pastor of Bethany Evangelical Free Church overseeing preaching and instruction. He was ordained as a minister of the gospel under the Evangelical Free Church of Singapore. In 2021, he was recognized as a Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Singapore Honoree for Humanitarian and/or Voluntary Leadership by JCI Singapore.

He is the founder and board chairman of the Koinonia Inclusion Network (KIN), a mission organisation that enables churches to include and disciple people with special needs. He also serves as chairman of Our Father's World, a mission organisation that advocates for creation care. In 2013, after leaving his job as an educator to begin full-time ministry, Leow felt called to serve people with disabilities, asking God to show him the 'last, the lost and the least.' This led to the establishment of KIN in 2019, which aims to educate, equip and train Christian communities in Singapore to better embrace persons with disabilities.

Throughout his career, Leow has contributed for almost two decades through various governing and advisory roles in the volunteer sector in Singapore, including with the National Youth Council, AWWA School, Kindle Garden, St Andrew's Mission School, and St Andrew's Autism Centre. He holds multiple advanced degrees from prestigious institutions including the University of Oxford (MSt, New Testament, as an Ertegun scholar), the University of Aberdeen (MTh, Old Testament), Singapore Bible College (MDiv, Biblical Studies), University of Cambridge, and the National Institute of Education Singapore.
