Biography

Pang Junxiong Vincent is an Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and the National University of Singapore, where he specializes in infectious disease epidemiology and public health. He serves as the Director of the Centre for Outbreak Preparedness and Deputy-Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute. In 2018, he was recognized as a Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Singapore Honoree by JCI Singapore in the category of Humanitarian and/or Voluntary Leadership for his contributions to public health and disease prevention.

Dr. Pang holds joint appointments across several prestigious institutions, including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Singapore's Communicable Disease Centre. His expertise spans infectious disease epidemiology, pandemic preparedness, and pathogen genomic surveillance. He has been actively involved in Singapore's COVID-19 response as part of the MOH COVID-19 Task Force and has contributed significantly to public health policy through his research and commentary.
