Biography
Delane Lim Zi Xuan is a Singaporean social entrepreneur, youth development specialist, speaker, and life coach with over 15 years of experience coaching and training more than 800,000 professionals, educators, public servants, and youths across Asia.
He founded Agape Group Holdings in 2005 and served as its CEO until 2016, after which he co-founded FutuReady Asia Singapore in October 2016 — a youth social enterprise focused on youth development training and equipping young people for future challenges.
He is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Character & Leadership Academy (CLA) Limited, a registered charity launched in February 2013 by the GPC Chairman for Education, which empowers youths through experiential learning, outdoor education, and character development.
Beyond Singapore, Delane has served as President of the Tchoukball Association of Singapore (2018–2025), Vice President of the Asia Pacific Tchoukball Federation, and was elevated to President of the International Tchoukball Federation (FITB) in August 2025.
He holds an MSc in Global Human Resource Management (GHRM) from the University of Roehampton, is a certified Mediator under the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI), and serves as Managing Partner of Global Outdoor Education Consulting Group and Council Member of the Outdoor Adventure Education (OAE) Council.
Achievements
Delane was awarded the Singapore Young Entrepreneurs Award (SYEA) 2020–2021 in the Health & Well-being Category for his work with FutuReady Asia Singapore, recognising his contributions to mental wellness and youth leadership development.
He has been recognised as an Icon of Change at the Icons of Change International Awards 2025, and delivered a TEDx talk at TEDxYouth@HCIS, reflecting his standing as a thought leader in youth development and leadership.
Since 2009, he has been the organising chairman of the Global Youth Leaders Summit and Bi-Annual Character & Leadership Symposium, and has led Singapore youth delegations on overseas exchanges including Singapore–London, Singapore–Africa, and Singapore–Mexico since 2013–2015.
He founded HAPPYOUTH in 2014, Singapore’s pioneering youth suicide prevention programme, and is one of the few certified suicide prevention specialists and lead trainers in Asia — a role rooted in his own personal experience with suicidal ideation at age 25, which he has shared publicly to reduce stigma around mental health.
Internationally, Delane spearheaded the ASEAN Youth Community in 2018 across five Southeast Asian countries, and currently chairs the organisation, with his leadership being formally acknowledged at the ASEAN level for cross-border youth empowerment.
