Biography
Danna Er is a leading construction and commercial disputes lawyer in Singapore who has established herself as one of the most recognized practitioners in her field. She is currently a Partner at international law firm Addleshaw Goddard LLP, where she joined in 2025 to strengthen the firm's ASEAN infrastructure and disputes practice. Dual qualified in New York and Singapore, Danna specializes in high-value international arbitrations, court proceedings, mediations, and adjudications across infrastructure, energy, and construction projects throughout Asia.
Throughout her career, Danna has built extensive experience working with Fortune 500 companies, international and Singapore-based developers, contractors, suppliers, and professionals. She previously served as an equity partner at Singapore construction law firm Eldan Law from 2018 to 2025, and before that worked in the construction and international arbitration teams at Pinsent Masons and Clyde & Co. Her practice encompasses proceedings across major arbitration forums including SIAC, ICC, LCIA, and ICDR, and she is also a qualified construction disputes adjudicator who received a Citation for her top performance at the adjudicators accreditation exams.
Danna's academic credentials include a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and recipient of the Parker School Award, and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (Second Class Upper) from the National University of Singapore where she was placed on the Dean's List. At Addleshaw Goddard, she leads the firm's Korea Business Group, leveraging her strong client base in South Korea as part of the firm's strategy to rebuild its presence in that market.
